Today as I was driving I boldly heard the Lord speak to me and tell me to do some type of a T-shirt drive for women in domestic violence situations. I’m not sure why women in these situations but I said Yes, Lord I will follow. I knew this is exactly what I needed to do on my dads first birthday in Heaven.

I quickly started thinking who could help get what had had into the hands of people that needed a blessing? First person that came to mind was my sweet friend Sandy Rehkopf that is with Ellis Co new non-profit—- The Heights - Ellis County Family Resources. So I sent her a text and we later spoke on the phone about the plan. I wanted to do something to honor my sweet father who would have turned 88 today. It’s his first bday in heaven and we are missing him so much

My dad would not want us sitting around moping and being sad so I decided to take action. That’s exactly what he would have done in his quiet, faithful servant heart. He was one of the greatest men one could ever meet. He never turned his head towards someone that asked for help and he never asked questions. He simply listened to what God placed in front of him and was obedient. God has truly blessed my business this year and I knew instantly we needed to make some beautiful tshirts and sweatshirts for these women that many times leave their bad situation with nothing.
